Travels in the heartland (or is that heartless?)

Well I arrived in Wisconsin yesterday, and thus far my soul is still in tact.
I only had 2 1/2 hours of sleep Friday night, so I am amazed at how alert and not-so-crappy looking I was when I finally arrived in Appleton. It was a fun trip to get here though. I flew out of Dallas on ATA (not too bad of an airline) into Chicago. Took CTA L-Trains (or is it el-trains?) to the Quincy/Wells stop and then wondered around by the Sears tower for an hour or so before going to Union Station to catch my Amtrak train to Milwaukee. It was fun doing all that. I just need to somehow work a boat ride into this trip. Then I can say I was on trains, plains, automobiles and boats all on the same trip.
We're going out to drink later, so that will be fun. Wisconsin bars are interesting. They have more of a community feel than Oklahoma bars do.
Tomorrow I have lunch at Humana with some friends and then will be going out some after that to hang out. We leave early Tuesday morning for Chicago and the rest of our trip back. Hopefully all goes well.
